Work

Built to survive real life

Everything is built to order, one piece at a time — every work you see here already has a home.

The Story

Built for the boys first

Løken Treverk didn't start as a business. It started with a dad in Ytre Enebakk who wanted to build proper things for his boys — a bunk bed that can take real jumping, solid wood toys without a single screw to be found.

That standard became the whole workshop. Every piece is built as if it's going home to his own kids: solid timber, honest joinery, and surfaces so smooth small hands can drag them anywhere. Exceptional craftsmanship, without the inflated price tag.

Work

Solid wood bunk bed

Built from solid 4×4 and 2×4 timber, assembled with woodworking joints and glue — not a single visible screw. Rounded corners and silky-smooth surfaces make it safe for small hands, and the construction is made to be climbed on, jumped on and lived with for years.

Work

Wood carving: The Bear

From chainsaw to carving gouge. The bear is roughed out with a chainsaw and finished by hand, cut by cut — worked out of a single massive blank. Commission pieces like this are made to order.

The Craft

Three principles. No shortcuts.

01

Solid wood, all the way through

No particle board, no veneer. Just solid timber that ages beautifully — and can be sanded back to new in twenty years.

02

No visible screws

Assembled with woodworking joints and glue. The construction is part of the design — and the reason the furniture stands rock solid.

03

Timeless form

Rounded corners, silky-smooth surfaces and clean lines. Furniture meant to live with a family for decades, not seasons.

Upcoming collection

Tidløs

Custom work

Have an idea?

A bed that fits under the sloped ceiling, a bench for the hallway, a figure carved in wood. Løken Treverk takes commissions in Ytre Enebakk, Enebakk and the greater Oslo area.

Solid craftsmanship shouldn't cost a fortune. Honest timber, honest rates — and a result that outlives anything that comes flat-packed.
